Photo # ??? (Who knows anymore?)

I'm at the airport right now waiting for my brother Dan to fly in. I figure I would upload this photo.
I witnessed a robbery today. It was bizarre. He bummed a smoke from me, smoked half of it and continued into Saks Fifth Ave. I was on the phone with my brother at the time so I kind of watched him take a couple pairs of pants and shirts and walk out and run across the busy street. So then I walked in after I got off the phone and told the guy working the counter and I guess they caught him.
I also got a free coffee coupon at Seattle's Best. This day is awesome.

Sometimes in customer service, things aren't so bad.

An elderly man with watery blue eyes asked me if I liked origami. I replied yes, but that I wasn't very good. He laughed, pulled out the dollar bill that I had just given him back in change and proceeded to begin folding it. His adult son stood next to him, not embarrassed, but rather as a weathered spectator who had seen this happen before. The old man kept instructing me as he folded and creased his way to what turned out to be a little shirt. He winked, set it on the counter and walked off smiling with his son.

Aaaand, I'm back!

Alright, almost three (four?) weeks later, I'm back and done with finals, graduation, trips to Nevada and all around chaos. Plus, I'm back at a new school working toward that almighty degree. There's so much hope for updating regularly again. I'll start with this appropriate sign I saw somewhere along Hawthorne.
