The End, for Now

Well kids, it's been fun. I enjoyed taking photographs for the time that Mary and I did. It made us try and make our days more interesting. It let us explore the great city that is Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately I will not be updating this blog anymore for the simple reason that I am moving to England for about six months and after that I'm not sure where life will take me. For anyone who found any interest in our little project thanks for hanging out with us!

Portland is never better looking then when it's Fall. I walk around the PSU campus (where the photo was taken) and just sort of marvel at the glory of falling leaves. Also, I'm stoked about the fact that its daylight savings time again and I get an extra hour to sleep tonight.

The scariest post to date!

This, ladies and gents, is what happens when you do not properly dispose of your carved pumpkin. Pretty scary, huh? Happy Halloween!

Automne à Portland.

This is an older photograph I had taken sometime last year at a birthday party, but it feels very much like this time of year when the sun goes down so soon. I can't believe next week is daylight savings time. I've been burying myself in World-War II fiction, French soundtracks and homework. Not a bad existence. Portland has turned into a wonderland of autumn leaves and yet I can never make myself find the time to go photograph it. Wish me better luck at that.

I'm feeling a little stressed. I don't really even have a good reason other then the normal hustle and bustle of being a college student. Maybe it's because I'm drowning in French homework that I don't understand. Keeping that in mind I choose one of my more calming photographs taken at Multnomah Falls. It's one of my absolute favorite places in Oregon. Maybe I should head back that way soon.

Teapots fountain

I've been in Portland now for more then two years and I often walk down SW Yamhill, but I have never before noticed this weird sort of teapot-bubble-fountain-wall-mural before. You can't tell from the poor quality of my camera phone, but this baby actually pours water and creates real bubbles. How did I never notice this before? I can't find any information about the designer. Does anyone have an idea?
