Ah, the Oregon Zoo! Always crowded with strollers and little campers during the summer all wearing the same bright colored t-shirts. My zoology class took a trip there today and split up to learn more about the respective animals we had chosen to study. My group took on the Steller Sea Lions who reside in Steller Cove. The water they swim in is so murky that it gives them a bit of mystery and made for the above picture.

Today I had my "exit interview" of sorts. I talked to my career adviser about what I would do after graduation and the options available. The whole thing felt so surreal. I guess I felt this picture exemplifies how things are going.

My roommate is one of my favorite people and tomorrow she's on her merry way to California to test for her black belt. Yikes, nerve wrecking! She'll be amazing though so let's all wish her luck!

Half Dead

My week of wisdom teeth pain and other assorted adventures.

Well, after a dreadful weekend of pain and agony I'm feeling pretty good. Ibuprofen still equals candy to me but what-cha-gonna do? Above is an assortment of photos. Among them is our new venus fly trap that Liz named "Rossco". She is in one of the pictures, on the ground, after having herself a merry time drinking wine down at The Bite of Oregon. Other then that everything has been a whirl-wind of homework, homework and more homework. Can I please just graduate yet?
