I bought tiny potted plants yesterday and today Liz and I named them:

Raise High the Roof Beam

Portland dressed itself in sunshine today, so my book and I took time to reveal in it down at the park. Everyone (and literally their dogs too) were there. We had the obligatory guitar player, the kids playing Frisbee, walkers, runners and other miscellaneous city dwellers meandering about. I felt as if we had all been hibernating through the winter and today was the first sign to awaken from our comas. Clearly, it takes some longer to wake up.

Magazines an' flowers.

Okay, so I didn't actually TAKE this picture, but I did create this cover for the magazine I'm working on for my Publication Design class. I thought I would post it in some hopes of any feedback. (Mary? Since you're the only one reading this?) The concept is an amateur photography magazine geared mostly towards the younger folk. Eh eh?

Moving on from homework. It got sunny for an instant today so I rushed outside to find the most inspiring relation to this glorious occasion. It turns out that Spring is coming & I hadn't even noticed until I looked up a tree. Let's hope it comes even faster. I'm a much better person in the sunshine.
